Manuscripts are distributed and read in advance, and will receive written comments from the instructor and class, as well as a thorough exploration of the work’s merits and opportunities for revision. Craft topics will be discussed and explored as needed, as will the long arc of a writer’s life. Your private meeting with Valerie can be self-directed to discuss revision or any other aspect of the life or practice of writing.
